Labour Hire Authority (LHA) engagement activities in May feature online sessions for hosts in horticulture and meat processing, and industry exhibitions in Melbourne.
This follows a busy April where dozens of providers and hosts attended information sessions in Pakenham and Melbourne.
A further 84 attendees attended a webinar for accountants and tax practitioners to learn about labour hire licensing law and practical advice for their clients.

Webinar for hosts in the horticulture and meat processing industries
Hosts who use labour hire in horticulture or meat processing can attend a webinar tailored to their industry in May.
The sessions will support hosts’ understanding of:
- their business obligations as hosts
- common issues in the labour hire industry
- tools and resources available to support them.

Exhibiting at expos
LHA will be exhibiting at two upcoming major expos held in Melbourne in May. At these events, LHA will be educating providers and hosts in the manufacturing and hospitality industries about labour hire licensing and the tools available to support business compliance.
