Upcoming engagement sessions for schools and new providers
6 November 2025
In November and December, the Labour Hire Authority (LHA) is holding online information sessions for schools as labour hire hosts, and for providers new to the industry.
In October, LHA joined 27 local growers, industry representatives and labour hire providers, along with a Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) representative, for a horticulture industry forum in Mildura.
LHA officers presented findings from the significant compliance program undertaken in the Sunraysia region across the 2025 citrus season, targeting both hosts and providers. Attendees learned about issues including licence fraud, the importance of using licensed providers, and using LHA tools and resources to ensure compliance.
LHA also exhibited at the Melbourne Build Expo in October, engaging with providers and hosts in the construction industry about labour hire licensing and the tools available to support business compliance.
