Regional information sessions and exhibiting at construction expo

In September, the Labour Hire Authority (LHA) is holding information sessions in Ballarat and Bendigo, and exhibiting at the Converge expo for the construction industry.
Providers new to the industry were invited to a webinar hosted by LHA in August to learn about their legal obligations and the tools and resources LHA provides to help. The session saw 87 attendees, who provided positive feedback about the event.
LHA also exhibited at the COSBOA National Small Business Summit in August, and engaged with businesses, intermediaries and peak bodies across a range of industries.

- business obligations under Victorian labour hire law
- current focus of labour hire licensing, compliance and enforcement
- tools and resources to support business
- questions and answers.
LHA is holding one of its regular information sessions for new providers on Wednesday 15 October, by invitation to providers who gained their licence within the past 12 months.
The webinar for new providers will introduce key obligations for businesses under Victorian labour hire law and the processes around licensing.
Exhibiting at expos
LHA will be exhibiting at the upcoming Converge expo in September. At this event, LHA will be educating providers and hosts in the construction industry about labour hire licensing and the tools available to support business compliance.
