Yarra Valley Labour Hire Forum

The heads of the Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) and the Labour Hire Authority (LHA) will hold a forum for Yarra Valley growers and providers in March, to discuss ways to improve compliance in the region.

Local horticulture and viticulture businesses are encouraged to attend this free event on Tuesday, 17 March in Healesville, hosted by:

  • Anna Booth, Fair Work Ombudsman
  • Steve Dargavel, Labour Hire Licensing Commissioner.

This is a unique opportunity to engage with regulatory leaders about:

  • active compliance and enforcement operations in the region
  • recent prosecutions of growers and labour hire businesses
  • protecting your business from the risk of fines, disruption and involvement with criminal elements.

Speakers will take questions from the audience and are keen to listen to constructive suggestions to support compliance with the law.

Capacity is limited and registration is required for admission.
